Peter Lillis

Peter Lillis from Ross, Kilballyowen, County Clare was the youngest of the family of 10 born to John Lillis and Margaret (nee Keating)

on the last house on the Loop Head Road.  His siblings were Pat Lillis, Lawrence Lillis, John Lillis, Mary A Lillis, Martin Lillis, Tom Lillis, Michael Lillis.  He emigrated to the USA and met his future wife, Mary Rose Kelly from Sligo in New York.  They settled in Jersey City and he worked on the railroad.  Their three daughters were Ann Marie Lillis, Margaret Lillis and Eleanore Lillis.

Michael Fennell

Michael Fennell, son of Tom Fennell from Fodera, Kilbaha was only 17 when he sailed from Queenstown aboard the Kaiserin Auguste Victoria.  He went to his uncle Michael Mescall, Ridge Road, Buffalo, New York.

John Houlihan

John Houlihan, son of Martin Houlihan, Kilballyowen, Cross, County Clare was 29 when he boarded the Caronia in Queenstown in December 1924.

He went out to his brother Martin Houlihan who lived in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Mary Fennell

Mary Fennell, Kilballyowen, age 25 travelled to New York in 1905 with her brother John Fennell who was 21 at the time.

They went to their sister Margaret Fennell at East 135th Street.
