Michael Eustace

Michael Eustace was born in Furroor, Kilmaley, Co. Clare.  He emigrated to New Haven, Connecticut in 1901.  He married Mary Connellan from Lisroe, County Clare.

Anna Burns

Anna Burns from Inch was the brave lady who persuaded the Claremen to open up their New York organisation to women in 1952.  This paved the way for women to contribute to all aspects of the organisation and eventually some great female Presidents were elected.   In 2002, fifty years on, the Association specially honoured her for this great achievement - she is pictured here with Mary Anne O'Sullivan, her husband John and Cathy Hogan.
